Coronavirus Preventative Measures

March 2, 2020

Given continued concerns over coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), the safety of our passengers remains our top priority. As such we are taking proactive measures to protect our passengers while on Savoya trips. We have instructed all Savoya Certified Drivers to adhere to the following preventative measures, informed by the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (C.D.C.):

  • Drivers are instructed to clean and disinfect all passenger areas and frequently touched objects in their vehicles using a reputable brand of household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Drivers are instructed to always have an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol readily available for passengers to use.
  • Drivers are instructed to adhere to high standards of personal hygiene: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Also, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Drivers are instructed to stay home when feeling sick in the slightest.

Savoya will continue to take proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns, or would like to discuss ways Savoya can help you travel safely and confidently over the coming weeks.
